Fleur de Lys (2008)

About the design: Bevelled glass (rectangular and cluster kits); obscure “cathedral” glass for intimacy. This stained glass panel furnished a house entrance fixed sidelight that required a thermal barrier.
The yarns: -
Execution: Copper foil technique; copper cames and framing; copper patina; demoisturized, vacuumed, and sealed between two layers of clear cathedral glass.
Installation: On standard rectangular aluminium mullion, with angle brackets and rubber foam strips.
Light play: Early morning sun spreads lily-shaped rainbows on walls and stairs all year long.
